Affiliate program
Earn commission by sending traffic to CardNexus. You share tracked links; sign-ups and purchases from that traffic are attributed to you and paid out monthly. Tracking runs on Impact.com — once you join, you get an Impact account with your own dashboard, reporting, and payout management.
Applying
To apply, email affiliate@cardnexus.com and tell us how and where you would use the program — your site, channel, tool, or community, and the kind of traffic you'd send. Once you're approved you get access to Impact and your media partner ID (mpId); every tracked link starts with it.
Commission terms
| Event | Payout |
|---|---|
| Referred sign-up | €1.00 per sign-up |
| Purchase | 3.5% of the order sale amount |
Purchase payouts scale with the revenue you drive each month. Increases above the 3.5% base are paid as a monthly performance bonus:
| Tier | Monthly revenue | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Base | Up to €9,999.99 | 3.5% of sale amount |
| 1 | €10,000.00 – €49,999.99 | 4% of sale amount |
| 2 | €50,000.00+ | 4.5% of sale amount |
Attribution
- Credit policy: last click. When a buyer clicks several affiliate links, the most recent click gets the credit.
- Attribution window: 30 days. A sign-up or purchase within 30 days of the click is attributed to you.
Order changes
A purchase is credited when the order is placed. If the order is later cancelled, the credit is reversed; if it is partially refunded, the credited amount is adjusted to what the buyer actually paid.
Locking and payout schedule
- Action locking: actions lock 1 month after the end of the month they are tracked in.
- Payout scheduling: approved transactions are paid 20 days after the end of the month they lock in.
For example, a purchase tracked on March 12 locks at the end of April and is paid by May 20.
Link formats
af.cardnexus.link gives you clean, shareable URLs that forward traffic to CardNexus with your tracking attached. You never build tracking parameters by hand — the link handles attribution automatically.
Every link starts with your media partner ID:
| Link | Format |
|---|---|
| CardNexus home | af.cardnexus.link/{mpId} |
| Search | af.cardnexus.link/{mpId}/{search terms} |
| Product, by CardNexus id | af.cardnexus.link/{mpId}/cn/{productId} |
| Product, by TCGplayer id | af.cardnexus.link/{mpId}/tcg/{productId} |
| Product, by Cardmarket id | af.cardnexus.link/{mpId}/cm/{productId} |
All three product forms accept an optional trailing product name:
af.cardnexus.link/{mpId}/cn/{productId}/{product name}
Examples:
af.cardnexus.link/1111/cn/50212
af.cardnexus.link/1111/cn/50212/Charizard%20ex
af.cardnexus.link/1111/tcg/631412/Charizard%20ex
af.cardnexus.link/1111/cm/728934/Black%20Lotus
af.cardnexus.link/1111/Black%20Lotus
The tracking links from your Impact dashboard work as well; af.cardnexus.link is a shorter, readable equivalent.
Product ids
The cn form takes the CardNexus product id — the same numeric id the API and the catalog feed return for every product. It is also the number at the end of every product page URL on cardnexus.com:
cardnexus.com/explore/mtg/beta/card/black-lotus-50212
└── 50212
The tcg and cm forms take the product's TCGplayer or Cardmarket id, so you can build links straight from a marketplace export without mapping ids first. If you work with both id systems, POST /v1/products/resolve translates TCGplayer and Cardmarket ids to CardNexus ids in bulk.
Always append the product name
When you have the product name, put it in the last path segment. If the id doesn't resolve — a brand-new product, a delisted one — the link falls back to a search for that name instead of a dead end.
Encoding
Product names and search terms must be URI-encoded: spaces become %20, and characters like &, ?, #, / must be percent-encoded. Use your language's encoder (encodeURIComponent in JavaScript, urllib.parse.quote in Python) rather than encoding by hand.
